Happy New Year to you all and here's hoping for a great 2022! Just a reminder that the club reopens this Wednesday on 5th January 2022 so we are looking forward to seeing everyone again at the club!

Nicky Bacon has triumphed in the 7th Jurassic Blitz Tournament with an impressive 6/6 out of a field of 12 players.

This was the first over the board tournament held at the club for almost 2 years, and it was great to see a lot of new faces to the club.

Jonathan Underwood and Luke Honey came joint 2^nd with 4/6. 

Many thanks to everyone who played and special thanks to Steve and Jon for organising and running the event.

We are happy to announce that the Seaton Chess Club will reopen for face to face chess on Wednesday 6th October 2021!

Please note however that we have decided to take some measures to mitigate the risk of Covid so please read our policy here before attending.

New members are always welcome, so please join us at 6.30pm at the Seaton Gateway (1st floor) to meet some of the other members and play some friendly games of chess!
