Congratulations to Seaton's Jon Underwood for coming joint 2nd in the 5th Plymouth Rapidplay with 4.5/6.

Seaton's Chess Club series of Blitz Tournament continue to be well attended with the 2nd tournament attracting a field of 14. 

The tournament was won by Exeter's Tom Thorpe with 7/8.

A huge thanks to everyone who attended Seaton Chess Club's very first Blitz Tournament. The event was very well attended and a great success. 

It is of course fitting and proper that the first event was won by a dinosaur! Congratulations to Exeter's Tim Paulden as outright winner with 5/6 and for dressing up for the occasion!

Congratulations also to Sidmouth's Nicky Bacon and Exeter's Brian Aldwin for winning the grading prizes.

Special thanks also to Jonathan Underwood for acting as controller for the night managing all the pairings and results.
